The Division I Council on Wednesday unanimously adopted a package of rules changes to allow transferring student-athletes who meet certain academic eligibility requirements to be immediately eligible at their new school, regardless of whether they transferred previously. The council’s action is not final until the meeting concludes Thursday and is subject to ratification by the Division I Board of Directors at its meeting later this month. If ratified, the rules would be effective immediately. #NCAAUpdates #StudentAthleteTransfers #ImmediateEligibility #DivisionIRules #CollegeAthletics #AcademicEligibility #AthleteMobility #NCAADecision #RuleChanges #AthleteRights #FairPlay

That's Caius.. 🥰🥰 So weird to see them on LinkedIn as I have seen them even talking about that Sainsbury 🙃 and right inside Caius College on Instagram all the time.. They are a trio actually - there is someone doing theology originally from Oxford, like me.. 😇 I would have gone to Cambridge, not touching Oxford at all, if I had known about Caius but I only found out about Caius through Varsity fencing as part of Oxford.. Oh, it was tough genuinely tough inside me... Never mind how fabulously fantastic Cambridge is for the stuff I do, as evidenced by how many times my old uni sent me over to Cambridge to get me trained properly in bioinformatics and dealing with loads of raw genomes to dig in, including this routine stuff, sequence structural alignment, easy peasy 3d modeling and that well-known probability matrices representing domains like voltage-gated potassium channels vs calcium dependent ones.. you know.. those little bits.. 😇 Anyway, mostly, the original works underpinning the bread and butter of what you do to find a target from any genomes and tossing out the structural meanings, in order to do something about the easy part of finding biological genomic targets - that's just how you get started.. 🙃 most of them were from Cambridge, if not the east coast across the pond, or Swiss something - they are good and Heidelberg for EMBL.. That's how I got cooked from vanilla blank.. So my old uni was good to send me away so often, to teach me how to do stuff.. Oh they do more fancy things and far more computationally expensive tasks producing glorious pictures unlike my sort of basic not much glory at all, a lot of basic steps you go over and over.. That's not a popular thing.. I did some stats at the hospital in the medical campus opposite JR hospital but again 🙃 not the fancy part of making gorgeous sophisticated graphs.. 😇 If you gonna get something really out of that, you have to see the raw data of clinical trials as the datasets are sent over to you for processing from wherever in the world.. They are not always readily compatible nor comparable.. And this attrition rate... it kills you as one line of coding you add in your script to handle those attritions can change clinical efficacy, before your eyes, to a range which begs a belief.. No one is too keen to do that part.. Someone has to do it.. How much effort those people would have put in to produce that ugly dirty looking datasets and all those numbers are real people and one box of attrition might have been down to someone got too ill to walk to the ... or their family member was taken severely ill preventing them from keeping to the schedules agreed.. It's so emotional and heavy to be faced with raw clinical trial data... Some of these famous drugs' efficacy would drop to .. you don't wanna know.. if you ... and that's not what they want from biostatisticians.. Absolutely not.. 😇 Never mind.. 🥰 Gonna make a cuppa. Okay. Bye. 🩵
