We solve real manufacturing process problems. Check out the photo. It reads..."walking & wasting time going back and forth from robot line to office" Followed with their own suggestion... "can we put a button that will alarm the engrs. about the problem" Our MES comes with such a "button" Solving common problems with real solutions.

Six Keys to Error-Free Workflows https://lnkd.in/diac64v Mistakes happen, but processes can be designed to avoid them entirely. That’s where Poka-Yoke, or mistake-proofing, becomes a game-changer! Let’s dive into the six core principles of this Lean approach: 🗑️ Elimination: Design processes to remove error causes altogether. Example: Fixtures ensuring accurate positioning. ⚙️ Prevention: Modify processes to make errors impossible. Example: Plugs fitting only in one direction. 🔄 Replacement: Swap complex steps with simpler ones to reduce error chances. Example: Automating manual workflows. 📋 Facilitation: Use guiding tools to make processes intuitive and seamless. Example: Color-coded tools for easy identification. 🚨 Detection: Identify errors early before they escalate. Example: Sensors or visual alerts in assembly lines. 🛠️ Mitigation: Reduce the impact of errors when they occur. Example: Reworking defects to avoid waste. Implementing Poka-Yoke can significantly enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. How do you apply these principles in your workflows? Our new portable Robocraftsman system isn’t just about metal forming: it’s about mastering a whole toolbox of manufacturing operations. Cutting is one. It requires coolant delivery & recirculation. We just tested this system in the new portable design. But here’s the twist: coolant delivery isn’t just for cutting. It’s also for a yet-to-be-revealed Robocraftsman skill. Spoiler alert: this isn’t just a forming machine. It’s a robotic craftsman, capable of tackling multiple manufacturing operations autonomously. Forming is just the beginning.

This might not be a jaw-dropping update for most, but it’s a pretty big deal for us and our company’s future. As we mentioned about six months ago, we’re going ALL IN on automation. While high-mix, low-volume production isn’t exactly a dream scenario for automation, we don’t really have much of a choice. And honestly, that makes it kind of exciting… with a touch of pure anxiety thrown into the mix. The picture you’re seeing marks one of our first significant steps toward the future of Forge LT automation. After hearing a lot of “That’s impossible,” “The plates are too thick,” and “There’s no technology for this,” here we are — with a machine that actually does something productive. And we’re just starting to figure it all out. Next up: machine automation. For every machine we’ve bought over the past three years, our number-one priority has been making sure it could be automated. One of those machines just arrived last week, and now that we’ve built a small fleet of automatable CNC machines, it’s time to push them to their max potential. 🚀🚀🚀
