We continue our transformation for aluminium #recycling with our new furnace 6! With this furnace, we are now able to produce more slabs at the Hamburg casthouse while incorporating more scrap. This allows us to reduce our CO2 footprint and metal costs. Dr. Nils Bauerschlag explains: "While designing the new furnace, we also considered #safety aspects by incorporating many new features that allow us to operate this furnace much safer than before".
