Experienced Financial Professional | Ensuring Your Security, Growing Your Wealth, & Helping You Achieve Financial Freedom | Proud to connect Military Veterans with lucrative & rewarding careers
Why I Hire Veterans: A Commitment to Our Nation's Heroes The threads of military service weave deeply through the fabric of my family! My husband, a proud Marine veteran, also dedicated his time to the Coast Guard Auxiliary. My son has embraced the call of duty in the Marine Reserves, while my son-in-law is currently facing the challenges of deployment with the OK National Guard/Army. Their sacrifices, commitment, and dedication constantly remind me of the immense value that military personnel bring to the table! Beyond personal ties, there are numerous reasons why I make a concerted effort to hire veterans: Dedication & Work Ethic: The military instills a strong sense of duty, responsibility, and commitment. When veterans commit to a task, they see it through, often going above and beyond. Leadership: Veterans have been trained to lead by example. They are skilled in team coordination, responsibility delegation, and achieving mission objectives. Problem-solving: Military training is all about adaptability. Veterans are often great at thinking on their feet and finding solutions even under pressure. Integrity: Honesty, trustworthiness, and strong moral principles are hallmarks of military service. In the business world, this translates to trustworthy employees who uphold the highest standards. Teamwork: Veterans understand the importance of working as a cohesive unit. They value each member's contribution and know how to leverage individual strengths for collective success. But above all, my drive to hire and support veterans stems from a deeply personal place. Assisting our nation's heroes in achieving financial freedom is not just a business strategy; it's a heartfelt commitment! By integrating them into the workforce, we're not only recognizing their invaluable skills but also offering a small token of gratitude for their unwavering service to our nation. If you're a veteran looking for opportunities, or if you know a veteran who might be interested, please reach out. Let's work together to create a brighter future for those who've given so much. #VeteransInBusiness #HireVeterans #SupportOurTroops #FinancialFreedomForHeroes #SoaringElite

There is a difference between hiring a Veterans with #industryexperience and #transitioningservicemembers. Veterans with IE historically have had an unemployment rate a full percentage lower than their non-Veteran peers. So the population of #veterans that look like me - is COMPETITIVE! That's why leaning into targeting the 240K people who leave their #activeduty service is vital to a successful #veteranhiring program. All of those Veterans with IE - their #transferableskills and #technicalskills are cloned in the military. By not targeting Veterans via #engagement or #branding, you're missing out on finding the gems in your current organization, and molding them into the future of your company. #veteranshelpingveterans #veteranhiring

Created by Hire Our Heroes Veteran Job Board founder, Dan Caporale, National Hire a Veteran Day encourages employers all over the country to recruit and hire our nation’s veterans. Since JST was founded by an Air Force veteran, we recognize the competitive skills and impressive core values that former service members bring to the table. In fact, 50% of our team members are either veterans or active military members! According to the U.S. Department of Labor, about 200,000 military members retire or separate from the armed forces each year. We encourage employers to become involved with the many veteran hiring resources available including the Department of Labor’s VETS program, United States Department of Defense SkillBridge program, and Hiring Our Heroes to recruit our nation’s veterans who are transitioning into the civilian workforce. #hireaveteranday #veteranjobs #veterans #hireaveteran #teamJST #govcon #WOSB #SDVOSB #smallbusiness #womanowned #vetbiz #veteranownedbusiness #vetowned #vets

Sales growth across Government (VA & DoD) accounts through easy to use contracting and consumer engagement systems...aka Mil-Speaking® // Author // Veteran
The best way to support AND sell to the military is through this simple tweak to “thank you for your service” Every Veterans Day those 5 words are the foundation of almost every pro-military message…which is exactly the problem! If every company says the same thing, including you and your competitors then no one is differentiating themselves! **PSA: If your sales & marketing teams claim it’s not about selling but supporting the military…”Houston, we have a problem!”** Veterans Day isn’t about choose between support OR sales…businesses sell in association with Christmas. The military’s special…but not THAT special, lol. To support AND sell, upgrade “thank you for your service” to an open-ended demonstrative message not just a closed statement of support. “This Veterans Day, we are proud to celebrate not just the countless veterans/members who have trusted us to help them [X], but the entire military community, from our entire [company] family to the entire military family, thank you all for your service and sacrifices!” Of course, if supporting the military is just a box-checking branding effort, sticking with the status quo is cool too :) On Veterans Day (and every day), give the military family a reason to choose you INSTEAD of your competition! #marketing #sales #brandstrategy

Happy Veterans Day my fellow servicemen, I want to take this opportunity to share why employers should hire transitioning Active Duty members, veterans, and military families. HIRE Active Duty, Veterans, Spouses and Dependents because: 1. The military community instills strong work ethic and a drive for commitment and collaboration. Since these ethics are instilled, members add value to organizations as these positive contributions are shared with others and exercised during task execution. 2. Military members are highly adaptive, they carry a wide range of skills in technology and personable intelligence related to team cohesion, communication and leadership. 3. Military members will rise to the challenge. Military members often surpass employers expectations. Qualities most naturally carried by military members are task oriented, leadership, risk management, communication management, etc. HIRE A VETERAN Thank you for your support to all military communities, allies, employers, and teachers. Happy Veterans Day!!

Happy Saturday . Smile 😊 I have seen a lot of posts about “ Corporate world and military world is different “ . How ? My opinion is my own : Is not different, we as veterans choose to be that way. We live in the past , we only hang out with veterans, and for everything we blame the corporate side or the military side. “ how broke we are , how this and that “ You left the military for a reason , is the past and a closed chapter. Stop living in the past and move on. If you have VA benefits , go see VA and get help , if you have civilian insurance go see civ Doc. Yes civilians will welcome you with open arms . They will support you . At the same time, work harder than everyone , do more than every one , smile , respect everyone , be humble, and you will be just fine. Is no different in the military , rank is earned ( the ones that have earned it ) , and respect is earned . Move on. You are in the civilian side or what ever we want to call it. I attended an event that made me think. The Veteran had more support from the civilians than his own community. This is the hard truth. Let me know what you think ? #military #veteranshelpingveterans #houstontexas #life #militaryveterans #transitioningmilitary #transitioning #militarylife #fourblock #vets2industry #nextop
