Gentrack were honoured to host an exceptional gathering this week – bringing together CTOs and CIOs of the major water companies in the UK. The evening buzzed with insightful discussions revolving around innovation and collaboration – pivotal in addressing current and future challenges as we strive for a more sustainable future for water. A key focus was on the significance of a future-proof tech platform amidst the challenges of a hyper-scale data-led environment, coupled with the potential cyber-security risks it poses. In addition, the discussions shed light on the growing importance of a digital-first customer engagement to achieve operational excellence and outperform the Outcome Delivery Incentives. These themes were underscored by Gentrack CEO, Gary Miles, in his opening remarks. Water executives in the room have also shared their experience of the journey to AMP8 – centred around collaboration in the industry and with the Regulator, as well as the main initiatives that will drive meaningful transformation for customers and the environment, in AMP8 and beyond. We have initiated a collaboration with a Finnish, internationally operating SaaS company Reslink! Reslink platform with its web and mobile applications serve the needs of various mobile work sectors, including security, cleaning, maintenance, property management, and other mobile workforce segments, by providing real-time process, personnel, and asset management. The integration between the ABLOY CUMULUS access management solution and Reslink platform allows unlocking locks using the same mobile application that employees use to track and manage their work. "The access control and security industry is constantly evolving towards offering integrated solutions rather than selling individual locks and systems.
