As I read the Issuer Requirements Guide from Trust Over IP Foundation it only reinforces my long-standing belief that well-known trusted proxy/witness/delegate issuers will serve an important role. Below is a link to a quick 1-minute read on why. Humpday Helper #98 NAB Edit & Resubmit Function NAB recently announced that from 22 July they will enable the Edit & Resubmit function in AOL, but only for AIP deals that you want to progress to Formal. According to NAB, this new feature will be available to you for all AIPs from the moment the AIP is issued – providing a faster, simpler and more secure experience for you and your customers. Their words, not mine. Important step to remember when resubmitting: The ‘Is for pre-approval’ field in the Security tab needs to be changed to show ‘No’. Handy feature to have but not overwhelmingly exciting given a lot of the other lenders have had the Edit & Resubmit function available for some time and for all deals. NAB went on to further advise that in addition to this new feature, we will also no longer extend AIP's beyond 90 days. This means if an AIP is not converted within 90 days, a new application will need to be submitted. Not sure how this is an addition. More akin to giving with the right hand and taking with the left. I'm sure this change will be met with mixed reactions from the Broker network. #humpdayhelpers #nab
