The National Levee Safety Program, a joint program between USACE and FEMA currently under development, is set to release the draft first edition of the National Levee Safety Guidelines on April 1, 2024. These guidelines, developed with stakeholder input, are intended to serve as a resource of best practices to help achieve nationwide consistency in improving the reliability of levees and resilience of communities behind levees throughout the United States.  This is an exciting opportunity to provide input into the first ever comprehensive levee safety guidelines for the Nation!    Visit www.leveesafety.org for more information.
