Everyone I think is motivated by my making a difference, being a responsible business, doing the right thing, supporting people's health and well-being. We are active in the healthcare space, we're supporting the NHS building and investing in healthcare buildings. And we thought, well that's fine, that's really important, that's a good thing to do, but could we do more to try and support the communities where our buildings are? So that was a conscious decision that we made five years ago and we've been working on that ever since. That's when we launched the community fund, That's when we went through all of our supply chain and said. Everyone that works with us, they've got to work the same way. People cannot be put in boxes. Health is about well-being and you cannot separate out the social aspect of a person and their health. So what we want to do is understand what matters to people and we're constantly talking to the community and asking if it's something that they want, if it's something that they need, if it's useful. And it's about providing those kind of non medical interventions so you might support. Gardening club or funded mental health counselling. We've funded walking groups, a lot of youth communities, mental health communities and it could be something like mentoring, volunteering at counselling, things like play activities, peer support clubs and activities for children and young people on the autistic spectrum. From climbing walls to football. Forming arts. 21st century youth provisions, grow support networks, create new artwork, create theatre, creating laughter, getting people out moving and making social networks. So it's all about supporting people on that journey. So, you know, if you want to work with us, you've got to believe in the same things. The bigger win is a sort of strategic partnership. How do we continue to develop? How do we make sure that what we do here stays relevant, stays state-of-the-art for the community going forward? And not only did we get, yeah, we'll, we'll support you financially, we also got a company there with people who really believed in what we were doing. Our kind of places wouldn't survive without them. So it's given us that chance to continue. On the road of it growing to allow it to evolve, but it's been a godsend it just gives them that lifeline to get out so it's it's utterly important that it's funded and and it's needed going through moving we're talking we're meeting new friends they go away feeling really really happy meeting friends learning new things having fun. Overall it looks like the three main things to childhood that you need and it it gives me as a mom and as a refugee and as. �� personne a�� lot of power�� and and now i�� can help people. Be. We all need that to be fair and I think if you're lucky enough to have all these opportunities, then you should actually give something back as well. And sure, it does that big time. Doing the right thing in the community is good for business. In the long runs. People used to think it was a nice to have. I don't think people think that way anymore. I think people understand we have to do this.

The Collective Impact Feasibility framework tool offers a guide to help a group of stakeholders assess whether or not collective impact is the right approach to address the specific social problem in their community. This framework is most helpful before you invest in a collective impact effort by assessing the landscape of actors, the scale and complexity of the social problem you want to address, and then the readiness of local stakeholders for collaboration. The funny thing about advocating for companies to evolve into the highest version of their potential is that....well....you need to start at home. For this reason, animarem set about measuring and transparently reporting on our impacts across a wide spectrum of responsible business. Today marks the launch of our 2024 'Proof of Impact' Report, which you can read linked in the comments below. Some amazing insights have presented themselves, now that we've started really looking: 🌍 The time and financial value of our contributions to community building and NGO contribution exceeded our annual profit value. 🌲 89% of our revenue was from #BCorps or those on the journey to Certification of becoming a 'Verified Business As A Force For Good'. 👍 We received a 96,6% Positive Experience rating from our clients. ☀ We transitioned to 70%+ solar energy. ☯ 77% of our collaborators and associates were Female. I'm proud of what we've achieved, but I also know that these statistics are already behind us, so we continue to look forward and explore new ways to add value to impact-oriented businesses. Our work activating purpose as strategy consultants helps our clients chart their future with 'conscious clarity'. "To reach the land of profit, you must follow the path of purpose." In his TEDx sprech Alex Edmans talks about the long-term impacts of social responsibility and challenges the idea that caring for society is at the expense of profit. In other words, values lead to value. This seems very intuitive, yet has a somewhat tree-huggish ring to it. Edmans shows there is nothing vague to it, and urges investors to rethink their approach. This video dates back a few years, and we seem sluggish to catch on... time to revisit his speach. #sustainablefinance #CSR #sustainability #greenisgreen #purpose
