Retiring early as a couple is a goal shared by many, and if planned comprehensively, it may provide opportunities for travel, passion projects, and more quality time together. As they work toward their goal of retiring early, couples must consider these areas as they plan together to work toward their early retirement goal. https://hubs.la/Q02jw6VB0

The send-off from my G&S colleagues was really touching for me and my family. No surprise to many, that kind of attention was just a bit uncomfortable for me. Why? Because my tenure and ANY success I realized is simply a credit to the hundreds of hard-working G&S colleagues I had the honor of working with for the past 27 years, the clients that trusted us with their business, and so many others that provided support along the way. The biggest surprise gift I received over the last month? Reflection… that I hope to share as a simple reminder for business leaders, at any level, in any industry. Do not underestimate the little things you practice, say or do during interactions with your team… The welcome feeling you give to a new colleague, the outreach on a job well done, the transparency in the way you communicate, your availability to others, the care you take to deliver even the most difficult feedback or result. As leaders, we fall short from time to time, and don’t always think about these and many other leadership practices on a daily basis. Just know that in the end, they add up to the sum of who you are and the impact you have on an organization. Lead on!
We sent off our outgoing President and CEO Luke Lambert with a bang by holding parties in all our offices! We had such a great time sharing memories, celebrating Luke’s retirement, and honoring his legacy. Thank you, Luke, for your many contributions to G&S throughout the years and we hope you enjoy your retirement! #WeAreGS ❤️

Financial Planner at Goplan to ensure meaningful goals are achieved. Mutual funds offered through Investia Financial Services Inc.
Entering retirement is a reason for you to celebrate. It can mean having more time with grandkids, travelling and doing other things you love. Whether you’re married or in a serious relationship, it’s important that you’re both on the same page as you decide how you’ll finance your retirement. Working closely with your partner can help you get ready for major life events – like weddings and vacations. It can also help you prepare for emergencies, like fixing a leaky roof or travelling to visit a sick family member. If you’re both on the same page, you and your partner can proactively manage these financial issues when you’ve reached your golden years.
