It was indeed peculiar to portray Low Earth Orbit (LEO) as a cumbersome design while labeling Geostationary Orbit (GEO) as an “out-of-the-box” solution. GEO satellites have been in existence for decades. However, the crux of the issue lies in latency, which is caused by the additional distance. On average, the latency for a stationary GEO satellite is approximately 700-800 milliseconds, compared to LEO satellites, which exhibit a latency of around 32 milliseconds. The phased array tracking system employed in Starlink antennas represents cutting-edge technology. Unlike traditional mechanical tracking, Starlink’s phased array antenna (commonly known as “dishy”) doesn’t physically move to track passing LEO satellites. Instead, it switches rapidly—faster than human perception—ensuring seamless connectivity. Consequently, the internet wouldn’t experience the described downtime. In essence, Starlink isn’t revolutionizing the field; rather, they’re iterating toward a cost-effective solution that serves a specific niche at the lower end of the market.

J1407b exoplanet has the largest rings in the universe.

𝗝𝟭𝟰𝟬𝟳𝗯 𝗔𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻, is an Exoplanet located 574.012 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Taurus. The planet was discovered in 2013 by the University of Manchester, UK. J1407b is widely known for the massive size of its rings, which are approximately 1605 times the extent of the rings found on Saturn. The planet itself is regarded as the first possible exoplanet, or brown dwarf with a ring system. J1407b orbits its parent star, WASP J140747.93−394542.6 (known simply as Alpha Centauri) in an eccentric (oval) orbit, which could disrupt J1407b's own ring system. If we replaced Saturn with J1407b, the rings are 100x visible by both day and night. J1407b has more than 1500 rings!

Additionally, some metallic compounds and alloys formed in the extreme conditions of space, such as those found in neutron stars, may possess extraordinary strength properties.
