Whether you're the only person handling digital evidence part time at a small police department, or handle digital evidence at a prosecutor's office or other setting, or part of a large forensics lab, SWGDE is a important (and free) resource for following best practices. SWGDE publishes consensus-based, best practices documents related to Audio, Forensics, Imaging, Photography, Quality & Standards, and Video. After utilizing SWGDE standards for many years to guide a digital forensics unit, it's a privilege to participate as a Scientific Working Group on Digital Evidence (SWGDE) member. It's impressive how welcoming and knowledgeable across a wide range of subject areas everyone is. 😃 You can find the latest SWGDE docs here: https://lnkd.in/gCENcxAF #police, #digitalevidence

Hear from our co-founder, Luigi Tiano: "How can I explain SentinelOne Singularity Identity's Network Deception in two words? Well, I'd say, expand and collect. If you integrate Singularity Identity with Hologram network, it deceives in-network attackers while collecting TTP intelligence. Interested in hearing more? Add me on LinkedIn and send me a message. I'm here to guide you on boosting your defenses and staying ahead of potential threats." #NetworkDeception #SingularityHologram

Advanced I.T. & Cybersecurity Services🛡️NetGain Technologies🛡️Security Awareness-as-a-Public-Service🛡️Cyber Crime Junkies Podcast🛡️
I. Will. NEVER. Forget. You Shouldn't Either. What happened on 9/11 still shapes us today. From the Cybersecurity and Cyber Crime wild west, to foreign invasions, national security to actual real-life espionage happening daily in our small towns and companies-the impact of that day inspired thousands to enlist in our armed forces, enter the medical field and join related critical infrastructure organizations like public-private coalitions and community outreach with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Get involved. Help our country. Regardless of which political affinity appeals to you one thing is clear-we need help. ⏭ I encourage you to think critically and empathetically. ⏭ To remember. ✅ To consider doing something selfless for the greater good, something based on a cause bigger than your own financial interests, even consider looking at wonderful organizations like InfraGard 📣 If you were too young at the time, learn about the reality and it's place today. 🇱🇷 For those involved, directly and indirectly, may God Bless your families. #neverforget #911 #newyorkcity #worldtradecenter #wtc

Some Harvard kids demonstrate how they can dox people instantly on the fly with Meta's Ray-Ban sunglasses: "AnhPhu Nguyen and Caine Ardayfio, who've collaborated previously on some positively explosive projects, shared their latest project on X in the form of a pair of camera-fitted Meta Ray-Bans smart glasses that can attempt to automatically and swiftly identify anyone in view of the device's camera and return an AI-generated dossier on them." https://lnkd.in/ecdUKnn7 Imagine, for example, you are undercover thinking you have good cover, and somebody is able to detect your real identity in seconds using these sunglasses coupled with some other services. I can easily think of other scenarios where this capability would be quite useful. #cybersecurity #cybersecurityawareness #cybercrime #socialengineering #phishing #scamprevention #scamawareness #fraudprevention #fraudawareness

On 17 June, preceding the Cybercrime Convention Committee’s 30th plenary (#TCY), our CyberEast+ colleagues organised a fruitful Planning meeting in Strasbourg. A joint endeavour of the Council of Europe and of the European Union formally commenced on 1 March 2024 with a budget of 3.9 million EUR, the CyberEast+ project focuses on ensuring effective criminal justice response to cybercrime and electronic evidence and increased cyber-resilience. Project countries were convened to discuss objectives and the current workplan. Stronger interaction with training institutions, use of tools for selection and engagement of participants, as well as joint development of activity outlines, were among the themes emphasised during the meeting. The key takeaways showed that the CyberEast+ project is committed to ensuring that its activities are better tailored to the needs of Eastern Partnership stakeholders through more engaged planning and shared ownership of the action.
