Astrolab’s Post

This past week, Astrolab officially celebrated our 5-year anniversary. Although January 2020 probably was not the ideal time to start a company, that’s when I took the leap and started the journey to make Astrolab a reality. I left SpaceX with the dimensions of Starship’s door and a goal to build FLEX, a rover that will help make humanity a multiplanetary species. Over the past 5 years an incredible team has joined me in making that goal a reality. We have grown to a group of more than 50 people working to create multiple designs of rovers to support the future lunar economy. A thank you to everyone who has been a part of Astrolab’s journey so far, whether you gave FLEX a test drive at an event or are working to design parts for our rovers. We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished in our first 5 years, and cannot wait to see that work pay off in the next five. -Jaret Matthews Founder & CEO, Astrolab
