ASU Foundation for a New American University’s Post

Students at ASU hosted a captivating storytelling event on gun culture. Through their “Guns, Art-making, and Truth” Humanities Lab course, they explored the impact of gun violence on the community. This intergenerational event was hosted at Mirabella at ASU. The event was part of a partnership with the National Humanities Center’s US-based Being Human Festival. Students acted as “fourth responders,” expressing the impact of gun violence through art and dialogue for healing.
