🌟 National Grief Awareness Week 🌟 Grief is one of life’s greatest challenges, touching every part of our lives. While nothing can erase the pain of loss, early, compassionate support can make navigating this journey a little easier. At Funeral Experts, we provide: ✅ Funeral & bereavement advice. ✅ Support with benefits & financial admin. ✅ A listening ear to ease emotional overwhelm. Here’s how we recently helped a bereaved individual: 💬 Assisted with funeral planning & payment support 💬 Navigated benefit changes & council tax discounts 💬 Provided emotional support and connected them to local resources Let’s reflect on the importance of supporting those in grief, whether through acts of kindness, a listening ear, or offering professional guidance. 💛 Get in touch if you or someone you know could use our help: https://lnkd.in/eriaNC2J #NationalGriefAwarenessWeek #BereavementSupport #CompassionateCare

➡ Are you genuinely supporting your bereaved friends in the way they need? ➡ It's common to believe that our efforts are supportive and helpful, but sometimes, they may not be meeting the actual needs of our bereaved friends. ➡ It's a question worth exploring, as the impact of insufficient support can be profound. While this list isn't all-inclusive (nor does it suggest that this is all you need to do), it gives you a baseline to evaluate your current level of support for bereaved friends. Please visit our website at www.honoringmissbee.org for more grief support, information, education, and resources. Let us know if this is helpful!

During this Bereaved Parents Awareness Month, we continue to acknowledge the challenges and heartache that our bereaved parents face daily after the unimaginable loss of their child(ren). We also want to raise awareness about the importance of empathy from those supporting the bereaved. Many bereaved parents have shared accounts of unhelpful comments from their support networks. Our society is not well-versed in grief, and these comments often come from a place of discomfort, awkwardness, or lack of knowledge. This RSA short is a light-hearted way to explain the difference between “Empathy” and "Sympathy”. Some important things to remember: • Cliches or silver linings are never helpful. • Don’t rush their grief. • Don’t tell them what they should feel or do. • Don’t try to fix them. If you’re a bereaved parent, share this with your support network as a gentle, light-hearted reminder. https://lnkd.in/gczXj8Df #ambernt #besideyouingrief #saytheirname #conversationsthatmatter #bereavedparentawarenessmonth #childlosssupport #neverforgotten #empathy

It's National Grief Awareness Week, so please be kind to anyone you know who may be feeling sad, lonely, or who may have recently experienced a bereavement. At Settld, a Service of The Estate Registry, we do our best to support those dealing with grief—sometimes that can be as simple as checking in and offering a listening ear. We know that grief is deeply personal, and support groups may not be for everyone. For many, however, joining a local chapter offers an invaluable source of comfort, community, and connection. No one comes to judge or offer unsolicited advice; instead, bereaved families gather to provide a safe and compassionate space to reflect, share, and honor the life of their child, grandchild, or sibling. If you decide to attend a local meeting, we ask only one thing—join at least three meetings before deciding if it’s the right fit for you.
