This is my "Larger Than Life" magazine cover, created as part of CCGCM 738 - Photoshopped! The Art of Image Retouching, a course I took while pursuing my Graphics Communication certificate with The Chang School of Continuing Education. In this course, we explored the full potential of Adobe Photoshop, a powerful image manipulation tool. From colour correction to completely modifying colours and adding or removing elements, we learned techniques to create polished, professional-quality images. A strong emphasis was placed on non-destructive editing, ensuring retouched images not only looked great on screen but also met the technical requirements of various output processes. The course also focused on mastering advanced image manipulation techniques and highlighted the importance of collaboration within the production process to achieve consistent, predictable results. This project is a reflection of the skills and knowledge I gained throughout the course.

I've created this video to include answers to customers' memory questions from my current research on the impact of high-intensity design in tech presentations. Let's define intense design as a combination of high-contrast graphics, bold color schemes, and kinetic typography used to enhance the understanding of complex concepts. Some sales teams resist these designs, favoring standard and predictable slides. To rescue content amnesia, we may need to re-think design in tech presentations to at least balance the bold and bland. Otherwise, in the absence of intensity, we will see these memory results again and again. And no memories or false memories hurt decisions and lengthen sales cycles.
