Visually impaired runner Libby Clegg and Paralympic guide Chris Clarke ran wrist to wrist, perfectly synchronized, and won gold in the 100-meter and 200-meter races at the Paralympic Games in 2016, breaking the Paralympic world record! Interestingly, Clarke didn’t make it for England’s national team and couldn’t compete in the 2016 Olympics, but he made a comeback by partnering with a winner in the 2016 Paralympic. He and Clegg trained for only two months together, and he helped Clegg see what she couldn't see. The takeaway? Winners need opportunity. When a winner partners with another winner, the likelihood of success DOUBLES. Are you teaming with winners? Repost this to your winner partners! #Success #Teamwork #Partnership #Cofounders

I have sat through hundreds of soccer games over the last 15 years as all four of my children have played both travel and school soccer. I am beyond amazed at the sport of Blind Soccer. The stadium is silenced, no cheering until a goal is scored - a goalie who may have their sight but field players who are blindfolded. Sounds crazy! and Impossible. After coming off of a soccer tournament this past weekend, and catching the news highlights this morning of the Blind Soccer Paralympics, I asked my daughter over breakfast, could you play soccer blind? "No way!" Immediate response received, I am beyond amazed, motivated, and inspired. In a world where we often find the smallest thing to blame for a failure or less than optimal outcome when things don't go our way - the athletes at the paralympics are getting things done. Change I can't to I can, because they are. Situational circumstances do not define your path. Your courage, focus, determination, drive, and grit do. When your head and heart are aligned there are no limitations on what you can accomplish. Lacking motivation today? Check out the athletes competing in the 2024 Paralympics and make the most of your day, your week, your year. Set goals and go get them. #pfizer, #diversity, #equity, #inclusion, #paralympics, #courage, #determination, #inspiration, #equality https://lnkd.in/e_HpRnck
