1wTemporary workers are critical and must be fully supported by their employers, and the employment businesses that find them work (if these entities are different). Any incoming regulation should pay close attention to the use of umbrella companies by unscrupulous employment businesses which deliberately obfuscate and confuse terms like 'gross pay', 'day rate' and 'umbrella rate' to shift the costs of Employer's NI contributions onto workers without them fully realising. Here's hoping!
