🎉 Celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and Tourism Workplace Accessibility Clinic🎉
Today, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we honor this year’s UN theme: “Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future.”
At Tourism HR Canada, we believe that leadership thrives on diversity, and inclusion drives sustainability. That’s why we’re thrilled to celebrate a major milestone today within our Belong initiative: the launch of the Tourism Workplace Accessibility Clinic, in partnership with MacLeod Silver HRBP and CCRW | CCRT
This innovative program is designed to empower tourism employers with customized recruitment services, training, and strategies to hire and retain persons with disabilities by creating inclusive and accessible workplaces where everyone, especially persons with disabilities, can lead and thrive. By fostering accessible and inclusive workplaces, we’re not just building a better tourism sector—we’re amplifying the voices and contributions of persons with disabilities as leaders and changemakers.
Calling all tourism employers across Canada, big or small! 📣
