We are seeking the positon of #Data_Scientist_& Engineer 1.     #Responsibilities: Data Collection and Processing: Design and implement robust data pipelines to collect, clean, and transform raw retail data from various sources (images, video, surveys, etc.). Develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure using cloud-based technologies (GCP, AWS). Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through rigorous testing and validation. Data Analysis and Modeling: Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights from retail data. Develop predictive models to forecast sales, identify trends, and optimize pricing strategies. Build and deploy image recognition and computer vision algorithms to analyze product placement and visibility. Insight Generation and Communication: Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders. Create clear and compelling visualizations and reports to communicate insights effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making. Technology and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies. Evaluate and implement new tools and platforms to enhance company’s data capabilities. Contribute to the development of innovative data-driven products and services. 2.      #Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's in Data Science, Computer Science/Vision, Statistics, or a related field. Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Python or R. Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.). Proficiency in SQL and database management. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP). Experience with image processing and computer vision libraries (OpenCV, etc.) Experience in Business Analytic and Visualization ( Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Can switching from Engineering to Data Science prevent some one from having their job outsourced? A lot of what a data scientist does involves interacting with domestic partners and clients, both internal and external. While most of what they do is behind the scenes, they are often the main point of contact to effectively communicate data insights to non-technical leaders within an organization. The internet has made it possible to bridge *written* communication gaps immensely for those in non-English speaking countries. That said, outsourcing data insights is not going to cut it for your VP of Marketing or Product who needs to talk through the data live. Many have tried to outsource that function, and have failed miserably at it.
