Hire for the potential. Pay for the ownership, responsibility, hunger, adaptability and outcomes. Formal education and previous experiences are useless if the person is not open for knowledge acquisition and owns his/her own area. When they're upwards of 40, 45 these are the ones who'll be out of a job. Bloated resumes but zero elasticity & responsibility. If they talk big, and feel they're above the system, there's your warning sign. Companies BEWARE #hiring #jobs #truth

Is too much experience REALLY too much? I saw an interesting job posting for a senior sales role. Everything looked good except when the company specifically mentioned they DID NOT want the person to have more than 7 years of experience of sales. It wasn’t about comp or working remotely. It was experience. A reminder for those hiring: 🌟 An experienced person got to where they are today because they never stopped learning and growing. 🌟 An experienced person is curious about solving problems so they can gain more experience for the next challenge. 🌟 An experienced person is willing to take on more work to have a diverse career. 🌟 An experienced person has no fear in tackling sensitive issues.
