77% of knowledge workers say they often attend meetings that just lead to... more meetings! And 54% leave meetings without clarity on next steps or who’s doing what. Thus, the never-ending meeting loop. 🌀
Bonus points if you use a template to create the page!
I'm a big fan of the 6P's for organising a meeting! Purpose, People, Place, Process, Preparation and Product! Gives you the complete outline of why it's being held, what everyone's role is in the meeting, what will be discussed & maximum duration for it, alongside what people need to prep & the product is a cheat code for knowing when the meeting is "done".
One change I've suggested is the meeting owner adding a description to the meeting with the goal. This can help define what's in scope for the meeting. It also helps reinforce how much time is needed, who needs to be there, and if the participants were able to discuss everything. Links to Jira or other docs can also provide supporting documentation or preparation
Fascinating experiment with a pretty wide-reaching impact to improve productivity company-wide. Would be interesting to learn about the change management effort to launch this across the org.
Okay we are looking forward to hear what is going to be planed after the meeting for the organisations infact those six (6) aset are the most powerful things of the organisation thanks alot my teacher jóvin .
Agreed. Meetings work best when everyone's on the same page.
Meetings leading to more meetings, yikes!
To break the cycle, we ran an experiment: https://bit.ly/3zg7mtB
