Launched 15 years ago to act as “a barometer on global cleantech innovation,” the first Global Cleantech 100 was dominated by #renewables and water. Today it looks very different. Cleantech received 25,435 nominations from over 65 countries this year — a 61% increase from the 2023 📈. Each was weighted and scored to create a short list of 330 companies that were reviewed by the 80 members of Cleantech Group’s Expert Panel, which included CI Investment Principal, Felicity O'Kelly. The results provide the collective opinion of hundreds of individuals.

Excited to be a tiny part of your amazing journey on pioneering carbon intensity tracking for industrial products by simplifying and accelerating certification for EU industrial producers. 🚀 Why I invested 🛢 Today, 80% of the world’s energy consumption is in the form of gases and fuels. ♻ Hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels can replace these to reach net-zero. 👹 But there’s a catch: hydrogen production ranges from very clean to very dirty. ❎ So: if we take that turn wrong, industrial decarbonization cannot succeed 🗝 The key? Robust green certification ⚡ The problem?
