So, I'm getting really into digital accessibility, and would love to become a subject matter expert in the topic 👨🏻💻 There is a whole universe of resources out there (online courses, articles, books), but I need a game plan to make sure my studying is focused, and my learnings concise and fast – I got two kids, which means I have barely any free time at all! 😅 To any A11Y professionals out there reading this: how was your journey from newbie to pro? What route, courses, books do you recommend as mandatory? Please let me know in a comment or DM, and if you're free for a virtual coffee I'd love to meet you ☕️ Please share! Thanks 🙌🏻 #A11y #Accessibility #UX #UXdesign

The future of K12 education is not in textbooks, but in technology. Today, with the disruption caused by the pandemic, we have seen an acceleration of this shift. But just integrating technology into the classroom isn’t enough. To truly make a difference, we need to focus on developing user-friendly platforms that will not only enhance learning but also engage and captivate young minds. This is where a seamless user experience (UX) becomes critical. As web developers and consultants, we need to visualize and create digital learning platforms that are understandable and navigable for children of all ages—ensuring they can use it without hiccups or confusion. Equally important is creating platforms that teachers feel comfortable using and understand how to use effectively. Embracing digital innovation in education could genuinely level out the playing field for students worldwide giving everyone access to quality resources regardless of their location. So let's collectively aim to push beyond our conventional paradigms and deliver technology that truly revolutionizes K12 education. #K12education #digitallearning #uxdesign #webdevelopment

Education is a journey that's forever changing, and 2023's edtech trends are showing us just how exciting and transformative learning can be! But wait, there's a twist... In many places, education is still following the old-school route. You know the drill: start at school, climb the higher education ladder, and no turning back. But guess what? Life doesn't always fit that mold! Taking a breather or switching paths should be like flipping to a new chapter, not starting a whole new book, right? That's where we're still working things out. Our current education setup can feel like an unyielding fortress, making it tough to explore different avenues. We're not stopping there – we're tackling big issues like making education affordable and accessible for everyone. Imagine a world where learning fits your life, not the other way around! Let's break down those barriers and make education an adventure that's open to all. Join the conversation! What's your take on the future of education? How can we create a system that's flexible, affordable, and empowering for everyone? Share your thoughts and let's shape the next chapter of learning together! #education #appdownload #UX #MobileApp #generalknowledge #elearning #learnfromhome #school #qualityeducation #edtechteachers

Product Designer (UX) || I help business owners do better business by developing design solutions that drive results || Strategy || Interaction design || Behavioural design
I decided to become a C student to learn a new skill. I first heard about UX Design in 2020 I decided to start learning it in 2021. I was in school then. And... I was studying 'rocket science!' 😂 I mean for a course that comprised of Physics and Maths, I could swear that I now know how to generate the minimum amount of energy required for a rocket to escape earth's gravitational force. 🤷♂️ My friends, seeing how I wasn't showing up in class as much suggested I find a balance. Honestly, I tried! But I couldn't find a way to excel in both. One aspect had to suffer. 🤦 I couldn't let it be the new skill. So I made peace with it. This is not a blueprint for anything. Someone was talking about this last week, and it reminded me of a project I was a part of a year ago. It's an all-in-one academic tool for college students. With this, students can: ↳ Manage their profile on school portal ↳ Access past questions and answers ↳ Use AI tools to solve problems ↳ Connect with online school community ↳ Manage their schedule 📅 (like Upload timetable and get reminders.) ↳ Get accommodation on and off campus When I joined the team, I instantly connected with the mission. I collaborated with the team to design a simple version of the web app. We launched and iterated. Here's the websites landing page 👇 What you think? #productdesign #userexperience #uxdesign #ux #uiux #productdesigner #edtech #edutech
