TennoCon 2024 may be over, but as we know from this year's major reveals, there's plenty of excitement on the horizon as #Warframe's new era continues. The explosive Warframe: 1999 gameplay demo was undoubtedly the show's main attraction, but Tenno from around the world were also treated to announcements for The Lotus Eaters and another forthcoming, as-yet-unnamed 2024 update, plus a Warframe: 1999 animated short from the talented creatives at The Line Studios. The hype train is also hurtling full-steam towards the upcoming release of Sevagoth Prime Access, not to mention Caliban's forthcoming rework and Deluxe Skin, which will be accompanied by a slew of new Quality-of-Life improvements. And if all that isn't enough to keep you engrossed in the months ahead, Digital Extremes' next title also becomes playable to all Envoys this fall with the wide release of #Soulframe: Preludes. Toho International, Inc. are smashing it with the in-game licensing collabs to celebrate #Godzilla on their 70th Anniversary. While the rest of the Japanese IP industry waits for #Activision to pick up the phone, the intrepid licensing & brand explorers, and their audience-developers are showing the #industry the way. Folks! There is a whole wide world out there to explore when it comes to #ingame #licensing and #brand #integrations. There is money to be earned by licensing characters out for exploitation inside popular video games. People will pay to re-skin their avatars in #virtual #cosplay items and weapons. It's easier to execute than a full game build and the brand approval process is straightforward, and the license period may only be for a limited time. A virtual drop shipment if you will. You can have a lot of control over the activation, and it provides you with a ton of free marketing, awareness and engagement with entirely new audiences you hadn't considered reaching before. But! It should not just be the #anime #IP company's licensing teams getting in on the fun. #Marketers! What are you doing in this space? Brand integrations inside popular games are a cost-effective way to get your brand in front of millions of young gamers via platforms like #Roblox. You don't have to build your own game. You don't have to worry about cross-contamination with unlicensed #anime experiences either. There are some massive original games actively seeking marketing and brand integrations inside their games with your properties. Launching a new anime series globally? One that isn't a #shonenjump brand or a continuing series with a huge audience? Perhaps it's one that hasn't got much of a chance of sitting at the top of the #Crunchyroll or #Netflix marketing funnel? Why not launch an integration within #Roblox on one of the top original #gatcha games with a massive #anime fan audience? These are the ways you reach and attract your viewing audience and build something substantial for the future. Put your IP into an existing gacha game that is live-streamed by key influencers. It can have a huge halo effect.
