The contemporary art world is not only hypocritical and corrupted, but as well full of imbecility and with a consummate lack of ethics.

This brother Yuval gives me hope that our next generation can reach understanding and coexistence. Yet his family’s home has been broken into in search for him as he was labeled an antisemite by Channel 11 in Israel (he is israeli and jewish). That gives me fear and anxiety about our present. This hope for the future and fear of the present is not new. It happens everytime I see solidarity grow. Yet everytime solidarity grows brutality increases. I am afraid that our people’s, especially Palestinian people’s, systemic cleansing will succeed before the world acknowledges it for what it is. We live between hope and fear, both of which are toxins. As hope lifts us the destruction grounds in the reality. As the fear sets in, we see glimmers of solidarity that renews hope before its crushed again. These waves come and go and take more of our patience into the sea of powerlessness. Personally, I feel small in the face of these challenges. Whoever knows me knows that I am not a small person. I have presence, projection, presentation, all of what it takes to be noticed. Yet all I hear is my echo in a shell. All I can do is watch from rock bottom. All I can do is retreat further into myself. Its been months and I start almost everyday this way. With these thoughts. Why Arab World doesn't execute its fuel blocking experience after about one year slaughtering of Palestinians? During the major Arab-Israeli conflicts in the 20th century, such as the 1967 Six-Day War and the 1973 Yom Kippur War, several Arab nations enacted oil embargoes and fuel blockades as a strategic weapon against Israel and its allies. The most significant example was the 1973 oil crisis, where the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) led by Saudi Arabia imposed an embargo on oil exports to the United States, Canada, Japan, and several Western European countries. This was done in response to the West's support for Israel during the Yom Kippur War. The goals of these Arab oil and fuel blockades were multifaceted: Economic pressure - The aim was to inflict economic damage on Israel and its allies by restricting their access to critical energy supplies. Political leverage - The fuel blockades were intended to compel Western governments to reconsider their pro-Israel foreign policies. Disruption of military operations - Restricting fuel availability was seen as a way to undermine Israel's military capabilities and war efforts. The Arab oil embargo of 1973 in particular had a major global impact, leading to an energy crisis, skyrocketing oil prices, and economic recession in many countries. This demonstrated the substantial geopolitical leverage the Arab states could wield through controlling vital energy resources. However, the long-term effectiveness of these fuel blockades as a strategic weapon was limited. Israel was eventually able to find alternative sources of fuel, and the global backlash against the embargoes also damaged the Arab states' international standing and relationships. Overall, the experience highlighted the importance of energy security and the potential for oil and fuel to be used as political and economic weapons, especially in protracted regional conflicts like the Arab-Israeli dispute.
