💡 👩🎓 👨🏫  Young Professionals Workshop  at Tracoe medical Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting students from the Education Center for Speech and Language Therapy Mainz for our Young Professionals Workshop. It was the second time I had the joy of planning this event with Alyssa Hofmann. An inspiring day filled with learning and hands-on experiences! Our focus was on integrating practical exercises and providing comprehensive insights from all facets of tracheostomy management. It was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and inspire the next generation of professionals in our field. Dr. hans kraenzler, our CEO, welcomed the students and provided an overview of our company and mission before they embarked on a multifaceted day with production tours and workshops on tracheostomy tube management and ventilation, including: 💡 Tracheostomy Tube Selection - Julia Bohm, a product specialist with 22 years of experience at Tracoe, shared her expertise on tracheostomy tube selection. 🌬 Respiratory Therapy - Marco Giordano from the PLM Department, a physiotherapist, provided insights into secretolysis and ventilation. ❔ Black Boxes - Julia Pinter, our product manager, conducted the Black Box Station where students identified errors on tracheotomy tubes to prepare for everyday situations. 👶 Pediatric Tracheostomy - Risto Lazic, a developer and one of the Engineers of the Tracoe silcosoft, showcased the pediatric tube and offered hands-on training. I had the pleasure of co-leading the pediatric tracheostomy management session and introducing ⚕ Emergency Management for tracheostomy patients, where students followed an algorithm to help a “patient” with respiratory distress. Thank you to all the students and staff who made this day a success! It is a matter of the heart for us to support the Professionals of tomorrow on their way.
