“I’m surprised and very grateful because I still consider myself a coach, even though I spend few weeks on the ATP Tour now,” explains Antonio M. Cascales of his coach of the month accolade. “I used to be on the front line, and now my role is to support both of them, not just the player.” Read more 👇

You dont have to aswer these questions, just think about them & read on through the five questions. 1.Name the five wealthiest people in Ireland 2.Name the Irish Sportsperson of the year for 2022 3.Name the last Miss Ireland 4.What year did Shane Lowry win the Open Championship 5.When did Katie Taylor win an Olympic Gold medal How did you do? The point here is that we don't remember the winners, the headliners of yesterday. Many of these are big achievers, the best at what they do. But we forget & the applause dies. The accolades & awards & certificates are buried with the owners. Try this other quiz now. 1. List your favourite teachers who helped you most in your school days. 2.Name 3 friends who have helped you through tough times. 3.Name 3 people who have taught you something worthwhile. 4.Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated & special. 5.Think of 5 people you enjoy spending time with. Was this easier? The people who make a real difference in your life are not the ones with the most money, the most credentials, or the most awards. They are simply the ones who care the most. #Coaching #BusinessAdvisor #StrategicCoach #Extraordinary #PersonalGrowth

Coaching, Mentoring & Supporting:🏆Grand Slam Champions | Olympic🏅Medalist | World 🌎 #1s | Junior 🌎 #1s | NBA 🏀 teams | Corporate 💼 Leaders | Access your truest super-nature ⤵️
Receiving the right information and the right training is crucial to our achievements. It’s one of the direct influences to our goals being just dreams or our goals becoming our reality. As a teenager I had this really simple idea: “Go straight to the source”. I was hungry to meet the people who took their dreams as seriously as I did, and I was so inspired by this idea, fed it everyday, that It unfolded. I was invited to go to Spain and train under the #1 British doubles player Dan Kiernan & Nathan Rooney at SotoTennis Academy I worked with Russian Perrenial Grand Slam contender Olga Morozova in London. I became sponsored by ATP #1 Doubles, #7 singles & Perennial Grand Slam Champion Emilio Sanchez Vicario in Florida. That small journey alone confirmed for me: - The right technical teaching can impact the results the player is having right away. - There are ideal age ranges to have completed fundamental technical, physical, mental and tactical competencies in order to have a development rate that makes you one of the best in the world. - If your goal is to be the best in the world, having an environment of those who are or have been the best in the world is going to heavily influence that from happening. - The parent’s consciousness, as it ascertains to the ultimate goal, is going to heavily make or break the dream from happening. The ones who are ready will be open to being coached and mentored for the benefit of their child’s career results. 2 ways I can help right now: 1. Myself, Nino Severino & Grand Slam Champion coach, Father of ATP #3 and 2020 U.S Open Champion, Wolfgang Thiem, are hosting an international training week in Austria, Oberpullendorf on 11th August - 17th. Details are in the comments to attend. 2. Receive the opportunity to be consulted on your journey from Grand Slam champions who’ve already completed the journey. Comment “Champion” in the comments and we’ll reach out to you.

"I can be very self-critical... that's probably one of the biggest... internal battles that I keep on fighting with myself– that I don't feel like I've done enough, that I haven't been enough..in my life, on and off the court." The best men's tennis player in the world who has won everything there is to win, still doubts if he is enough. We, as humans, can be brutal to ourselves. It is never about the accolades, the outward measures of success, the wealth we have, or anything else you can think of to fill in the blank. This is an internal struggle. An emotional one. Some say their self-criticism fuels them. They're afraid they would "lose their edge" if they were kind to themselves. But what good is it to achieve milestone after milestone, accolade after accolade, success after success, if you aren't proud of yourself in the process? Each day, I help people identify these critical mechanisms and learn what is fueling them. The result? Actual enjoyment. The accolades don't go away. The person's ability to perform doesn't go away. They just finally can acknowledge their achievements for themselves. And that is priceless. Watch the full interview with the link below https://lnkd.in/gNPzNSzX

Short and insightful read.
Exciting update: Celebrating Anita Alvarez who is now an Olympic silver medalist alongside her Team USA in the artistic swimming competition. More incredible, the victory marks the first time the United States has medaled in the event since 2004. The idiom "get back on the horse", or in this case, get back in the pool, delivered an exceptional result, reminding us all to keep fighting for our dreams!🏆 At the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Anita Alvarez, the two-time Olympian finished her free solo routine, passed out, and sunk to the bottom of the pool. Looking across the pool, her coach, Andrea Fuentes, noticed she was under too long and without hestitation jumped in fully clothed pulling her up to safety. Anita was fully unconscious and had no way to kick to the surface and save herself. And if her coach hadn’t known her as well as she did, she certainly would have drowned. When I saw this story, I asked myself: When you are under too long, who are the people who will pull you to the surface when you lose your strength? Are you surrounding yourself with those who pay attention and put others first? Do you lead by example? And can someone count on you to provide that needed strength when they don’t have it? Jim Rohn’s famous quote “You Are The Average Of The 5 People You Spend The Most Time With”, is not just in your personal life, it is all encompassing. If you’re a leader, hire people who emulate the traits you respect and can do the same for others on the team. Choose an employer that stands for something important to you. Paying attention to others beyond what they let you see or what they say : we can get just enough to detect when they need someone to "pull them to the surface". Beyond the 5 people you spend the most time with, we can all make the difference by conecting truly and fully when we are comunicating. I have to admit that what bothers me most about working 100% remotely is that I can't see the people I'm working with, and I actually miss half of their communication. Stress is good when it is short, but we can all detect when people are under pressure too often, each information you get must be recorded to know when it is too long, as Andrea Fuentes did with the seconds. Thank you Jill Goldworn 👩🏻🍳 #management #leadership #people #communication 🌳
