50 Years in Business – The IAA – International Trade Fair (Post 36 of 50) With less than two weeks to go to this year’s IAA TRANSPORTATION International Trade Fair, we are busy preparing for what has become Europe’s largest commercial vehicle exhibition. Maple is delighted to be exhibiting once again at the prestigious road transport event, taking place in Hannover between 17th – 22nd September. The IAA has over 125 years of history, developing over the years from a simple product show, to become a fully integrated trade fair, covering the entire value-added chain for mobility, transport and logistics. It is not just the show itself that has evolved during that time – so too has organised criminal activity, which continues to blight European supply chains. To meet this challenge, Maple work closely with operators to advance our own security offering, ensuring our product range meets the requirements of today’s modern logistics operators. Uniquely, our product portfolio caters for all commercial vehicle specifications and door types, including shutter door, barndoor, refrigerated bodies and panel vans, which we look forward to demonstrating in Germany. But why are trade fairs important for his HVAC department in the digital age? 💬 "Trade fairs and events are a good opportunity to meet existing customers in a relaxed atmosphere and make potential new contacts," says the Area Sales Manager. The MCE is in Italy. However, Sebastian mainly looks after customers in Germany. How does that fit together? 💬 "As a platform for the southern European market, but also internationally, the Mostra Convegno is an important event for Gebhardt-Stahl, which we use to be close to our customers.
