Jan, resident poet of Atria at Foster Square, finds inspiration in people and nature. "I connect with the beauty of what I see around me." She shares she likes to have a positive viewpoint with her writing so that every poem she writes will cheer up the person reading it. We're pleased to share Jan's poem, "Senior Living", with you. Jan uses humor and honesty to share what she is thankful for in her community. The beautiful design was done by Bernie, the community's Engage Life Program Instructor. Jan added, "I'm thankful for all the help that I receive from the employees of the community and for their understanding of the residents."
