In randomized open label studies, peri-interventional treatment with cilostazol after ET for FP-PAD lowered the odds of restenosis and TLR (Level 1A). Similarly, in observational studies that adjusted for confounding, peri-interventional cilostazol therapy was associated with lower rates of restenosis, TLR, and amputation (Level 2A).

3moBeyond a shadow of a doubt, hybrid ablation is infinitely superior to the sole endocardial ablation in non-paroxysmal AF. That’s out of discussion. However, the turning point to consider is how effective as freedom from AF with no anti arrhythmic drugs is the procedure at longer follow-ups than just 1.5, 2 or 3 years. Maybe 5 yr may shed some light about this therapy focused on non-paroxysmal AF. Let’s wait for the very long results.
