I love Charlotte NC, the center of all things Carolina! I have spent the majority of my adult years here and (I think it is best said by my old friend Jimmy Buffett), "I have found me a home." I am pumped up today that my passions are colliding in Charlotte: Case Status and 24 Foundation. On the Case Status front, I have been humbled to see all the law firms in my home town that are radically disrupting client engagement for their consumer customers by leveraging our software and our 5star App. These are neighbors helping neighbors... whether immigration, disability, bankruptcy, family, estate & probate, injury, etc. The common thread of these firms is top customer ratings and scores. This week a few of us are getting out into the Queen City to visit several of these firms. Cannot wait to hear more about how we can continue to use innovative technology to advance the firms' missions. On the 24 Foundation, I am excited to be serving on the Marketing Committee. Our mission is to inspire and engage communities to make an immediate impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. For us, that means more than funding research and goes beyond finding a cure. It also means investing in services that untangle the maze of appointments, tests, and treatments after diagnosis, and funding programs to increase the quality of life for survivors decades into the future. In that same Buffett song he talks about how his old red bike gets him around. Most in Charlotte know that 24 Foundation has a flagship bike ride in July... I can hardly wait. Luckily we have other events throughout the year to mobilize our community... again, neighbor helping neighbor. Check out the SuperHero Stomp coming our way in April. I hope to see you there! https://lnkd.in/ee-wafKD #charlottenc #queencity #nonprofit #nonprofits #charlottencnonprofits #charlottenccharity #nonprofitbudget #community #LegalTech #LawFirmGrowth #CaseStatus #LegalTechnology #ClientSatisfaction #charlottelegal

🚵♂️ Meet one of our returning riders: Terri Gelberg! Terri shared with us why she rides for Team CHIbra: "I am proud to ride with Team CHIbra once again, recognizing the vital importance of supporting research for hyperinsulinism. This ride is especially meaningful for me to ride alongside, and honor, Dr. Charles Stanley. Dr. Stanley's groundbreaking work significantly advanced the understanding and treatment of hyperinsulinism during his career. By supporting this cause, we continue to build on his pioneering efforts, honor his legacy, and make a difference!" You can support Terri's fundraiser for HI research at https://lnkd.in/eXEiFPGa 🚲️ The Million Dollar Bike Ride is tomorrow, June 8 in Philadelphia, PA, and for the 11th year, we are raising funds for congenital hyperinsulinism research! ‼️ 💙 Your donations to CHI this month will go even further - The University of Pennsylvania will match the first $30,000 of our donations. CHI is raising funds to address the critical need for research for diagnostic tests to increase timely diagnosis of HI, tools for better management, new treatments, and, one day, a cure. #hyperinsulinism #raredisease #congenitalhyperinsulinism #hypoglycemia | Hyperinsulinism | Congenital | HI | Hypoglycemia | Rare Disease

I help nonprofits deepen connections to constituents, donors, & employees through empathy and storytelling.🍋 | Messaging & Content Strategy | Strategic Communications | Engagement & Growth | Fundraising
❓Are there too many nonprofits? (2 M and counting). ❓Are too many small orgs springing up and should that energy go into supporting existing ones? ❓Should there be more mergers? We got into a very interesting discussion about nonprofit landscape. 🖤I will absolutely acknowledge that some orgs address new or unique needs that are not being addressed. 🖤Some orgs commemorate loved ones and are deeply emotional. While I sincerely empathize with intent, I still see these as competing for dollars and volunteers while it is extremely difficult to stand up a viable operation. 😮I looked at Guidestar and typed in search “cancer” - 12,991 results. In fairness a few of these reference cancer but not soley focused on it. Most are cancer orgs from ACS and Komen to very local ones. There are without a doubt inefficiencies and competition for funds. So how do we maximize collective impact and allow families to carry forward a legacy of their loved ones? #nonprofit #philanthropy Andrew Olsen
