SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE: The federal government recently published its interim response to the Department of Industry consultation on Safe and Responsible AI. Over 500 submissions from academics, businesses and individuals formed the consultation paper, which found that while certain generative AI systems and applications may be helping to improve wellbeing, efficiency and quality of life, further guidelines and parameters are needed.
