Large, semi-matting, and full matting nylon chips are categorized based on the mass fraction of titanium dioxide, ranging from 0% in the large optical section to 2.5% in the full extinction yarn section. The significant difference between semi-extinction and full extinction sections is the titanium dioxide content, with the latter exceeding the former by more than 8 times. In the domestic polyester market, Full extinction nylon slicing stands out as a high value-added product. 🌟 The secret of the production process of high-performance filaments 🌟 In the modern textile industry, high-performance filaments have attracted much attention due to their excellent strength, wear resistance and chemical resistance. The process of making this high-performance filament mainly includes several key steps such as material selection, spinning, stretching and post-processing. Raw material selection: The basis of high-performance filaments lies in high-quality raw materials. Usually, producers will choose polyester, nylon (such as PA6, PA66) or high-performance fibers (such as aramid, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, etc.). These materials have excellent physical properties and chemical stability and can perform well in extreme environments. Spinning process: During the spinning process, the raw materials are transformed into thin and long filaments through melt spinning technology. Melt spinning uses high temperature to melt the material, which is then ejected through fine holes and cooled to form filaments. This process requires strict control of temperature and flow rate to ensure the uniformity and consistency of the filaments. Stretching treatment: Stretching is a key step to improve the strength and modulus of filaments. Through mechanical stretching, the molecular chains of the silk thread are effectively arranged, enhancing its mechanical properties. In addition, stretching can also improve the toughness and fatigue resistance of the silk thread, making it more reliable in use. Post-processing process: The stretched filaments usually need to be post-processed such as heat setting and dyeing to stabilize their size and shape. Heat setting can eliminate residual stress and improve thermal stability, while dyeing gives the silk thread rich colors to meet market demand. Performance testing: High-performance filaments must undergo a series of rigorous performance tests before leaving the factory, including tensile strength, abrasion resistance, UV resistance and other indicators to ensure that they meet international standards and customer requirements. Such high-performance filaments are widely used in aerospace, automobiles, sports equipment and high-end clothing, helping innovation and development in all walks of life.
