To my excitement, a significant portion of their work revolves around #AI and #datascience! It's inspiring to witness the step-by-step progress in technology through the contributions of the laureates. 💡By the way, the 2023 recipient, Avi Wigderson, was recognized "For reshaping the understanding of the role of randomness in computation, and for decades of intellectual leadership in theoretical computer science." We are thrilled to share that Maha Daoud, CRHA, CPHR, Faculty Lecturer in the Administration and Governance domain, took the stage at the prestigious 13th annual Saltise Conference, held at Concordia University on June 3 and 4, 2024. Maha’s presentation "Transforming Education in the Age of Generative AI" chaired by Grace Mitri-Youness, was both insightful and engaging while addressing the topic of the conference "Emerging Technologies in Education: Shaping potential, managing pitfalls." 

Anticipating the learning and networking that will take place during the Learning and the Brain conference focussing on Future-Ready Brains: Teaching Students to Think, Create, Innovate, Learn and Adapt, for an Anxious, AI age. Pursuing my PhD is a rewarding, new chapter and a great way to grow, while adding value to others. It is exciting to have our team’s work exploring genAI accepted at Society for Marketing Advances this fall! Conference theme: "The Age of AI." Very thankful for awesome co-authors and peers from my doctoral program (shoutout Mark Stroud and Logan Barrett!) at University of South Alabama Mitchell College of Business!

I am very excited to share that I have completed my MRes Creative Computing at the Creative Computing Institute at UAL with a disctinction! 🎉 During my time at the university I developed an interactive educational tool to make complex AI concepts more accessible and enjoyable, ultimately advancing AI literacy for non-expert users. Integrating tactile interaction, gamified elements and Explainable AI tools, users were able to make quick predictions on the survival outcomes of passangers on the Titanic they created. This method helps break down multi-layer data into physical game pieces, making learning fun and engaging. Participants in my study were able to grasp the fundamentals such as feature importance and explainability for machine learning tools. 🤓

I am extremely excited to share that I've successfully completed the Post Graduate program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (PGP - AIML) from The University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business, USA! Countless hours of dedicated study, engaging in challenging projects, and navigating rigorous academic endeavors have all been geared towards not only personal development but also advancement within the dynamic realm of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Through Penny, an AI-generated chatbot, advisors at SNHU now have more information to act faster to support the learners who need it most.
