Project Still Unfinished? Spent a ton of money and what feels like an eternity, yet you’re still stuck with a buggy prototype and no working #firmware? Ready to stop the cycle and ask, "When will the project be done?" But no one’s around to answer—because they’re gone or unable to finish? Tired of gambling on new applicants, talent searches, and freelancer lotteries? In my 10+ years in #embedded systems, I’ve often dealt with projects left unfinished by others. Clients share countless stories of failed attempts with full-time developers, freelancers, and marginal service companies, never reaching the desired results. Developers can be like that: focused on applications, pay, job location, and home-office percentages. Everything, it seems, except the project. The truth is, nobody really cares about your project. We have to accept that. Developers often quit, leaving behind unmaintainable code and poor design. You’re left either starting from scratch or finding new people to clean up the mess, hoping they won’t leave too. Freelancers? They always claim they can do anything, but their priority is billable hours. You never know where those hours go, and they vanish once the budget is gone. Professionalism varies, and often, you encounter people with a vague plan and little interest in the end goal. Hours first. Leave any moment. No responsibility. Today, I discussed with Hummam Kadour, our client relations lead at PICKPLACE, why decision-makers often reject his outreach. He tries to convey this simple message: "You have a problem we can solve. Stop experimenting with unreliable people. We offer a proven system: - A strong international team in Hamburg. No freelancers. No remote overseas developers. - Always reachable. Regular video meetings, calls, and reports. Stay in control without worrying about project management or technical issues. - No personnel problems. - Strict timelines. Contracts with no hidden fees. Clearly defined goals and results, signed by both parties. - A lab with modern tools for in-house testing, development, and debugging. - Hardware samples made in Germany by trusted suppliers. No suspicious parts or faulty assembly. - Full technical documentation as required, with data safety guaranteed." For Hummam: people often reject sales pitches, but keep going. Those who want solutions will listen. For companies with unfinished or stalled embedded projects: contact Hummam Kadour or me directly. We don’t charge for initial project discussions.

Entrepreneur | Software engineer | Flutter | MERN Stack Developer | Express JS | NestJS | API development | ReactJS | Full-Stack developer | Mobile app developer | Solidity | Blockchain | web3
Face it, folks – full-stack developers are the Swiss Army knives of the tech world. - They Speak Frontend and Backend: These pros can communicate with both your website and your server. It’s like being fluent in both cat and dog. - Why hire two when you can hire one? It’s like getting a pizza with all the toppings for the price of plain cheese. - When the code hits the fan, they’re there to save the day – whether it’s a CSS bug or a server meltdown. Full-stack developers are basically the Batman of tech. - Need a quick fix on the frontend? No problem. Database issue? They’ve got it. Can’t decide what to have for lunch? They’ll probably solve that too. - In a startup, full-stack developers are the MVPs. They’ll build your product, fix your bugs, and might even make your coffee (well, maybe not the coffee). But, it’s not always a perfect solution, and there are some challenges to consider: - Balancing frontend and backend tasks means juggling a lot. It’s like trying to pat your head and rub your belly at the same time – while riding a unicycle. - Jumping between different layers of the stack can feel like flipping channels on a TV – without a remote. - With new tools and technologies emerging every week, staying up-to-date can feel like running on a treadmill that keeps speeding up. - While versatile, full-stack developers may lack the depth of knowledge in specific areas that specialists have. Sometimes you need a heart surgeon, not a general practitioner. - Handling everything from UI design to database management can be exhausting. Even superheroes need a break! Long story short: Full-stack development is the way to go when: - Small Teams: Managing both front-end and back-end tasks. - Startups: Building MVPs quickly and cost-effectively. - Freelancing: Offering all-in-one services to clients. - Prototyping: Rapid development and iteration. Full-stack development may not be necessary when: - Large Projects: Specialized teams can work more efficiently. - Complex Front/Back-end Needs: Requires deep expertise in specific areas. - Maintenance: Focus on either front-end or back-end issues. - Enterprise Environments: Clear separation of roles and responsibilities.

Employer branding, recruitment and LinkedIn coach, creating business momentum | Available for part-time assignments
One of the highlights for me this past year has been the partnership with TeamPilot.io. John Cannerborg and the team have many years of experience in matching freelancers with companies. And now I have a way of actually helping my big network of independent contractors looking for their next gig. It's not a secret that the platform hasn't been full of assignments lately. The market has been dryer than anything I've experienced before. But there are signs of a comeback. And last week we went live with a project where we are looking for 6 remote fullstack developers for a customer. 🤩 (We can't handle anymore applicants for that assignment now though.😅) Hopefully this is just the beginning! It's great to see that there are so many candidates who have registered a profile on TeamPilot. And we love talking to new and existing customers about upcoming projects. But isn't it a bit boring only doing so online? We think so (even though we are remote-first) and have something exciting planned in Gothenburg to kickstart the fall. So please mark your calendar if you're a freelancing developer or if you're a stakeholder in a tech company who would need a few extra hands in your team. "But we never hire consultants here. It's expensive and they are not committed." Well, we have invited my good friend and experienced CTO Adam Horner to bust that and some other common myths about contractors. Adam will also share his thoughts on when you shouldn't hire a consultant, and when it's actually a really good idea. At least if you want to save both time and money. So... Are you a freelancer? Or a CTO (or similar) in a growing company? Please join us for this social event at OGBG, Skeppsbroplatsen 1, Gothenburg. August 28, 17-19 Send me a dm if you're interested! 🕺

Coaching Software Devs to get Clients on LinkedIn | Get direct clients without recruiters even in bad markets | Expert Client Acquisition Training | DM me „clients“ to get started
This mistake is losing sr. developers a €100K - €120K salary. (Contract-based devs can hit 15K/month) You think people will recognize your skills, but they won’t. In fact, they love to underpay you — no matter how hard you work. So, You leave your job → Go freelance → Freak out → Bid on Upwork for low-paying gigs. You went freelance to earn bigger bucks but ended up earning 30% less. Ouch! Why is this happening? You missed out on 2 essential skills: Skill 1 — Ignoring the art of attracting high-paying clients (oops!) Skill 2 — Skipping the contract negotiation game (uh-oh!) Software delivery? Piece of cake for a senior dev like you! We fixed the first two skills for Martin, and he dropped a bombshell last week: 7 months ago: Asks agency a mere €100 raise in daily charges. Denied. “It’s TOO HUGE! Quit if you want to.” → They said. 3 weeks ago: Asks agency for the €100 raise, again. CEO freaks out. They beg him to stay. Raise granted happily. Why? Because they realized he wasn’t dependent on them. His LinkedIn brand showed his true expertise, attracting more clients. The stakes were high now. Martin has options now. He can switch to any other company instantly. Because isn’t freelancing about doing what you want with the pay you deserve? Remember, when starting your senior dev freelance career, don't ignore these two crucial skills. (DM for “more” for more info on our proven sr. dev framework to boost your income by 20%)
