My "Wednesday Reflections": Reading Really today, no matter where I turn my gaze… I see nothing but conflict and gloom.  The news sky is heavy with gray and lazy clouds that stubbornly linger and procrastinate.  One piece of advice: ESCAPE! … slip your thoughts into reading!  Go sail into a novel, be surprised by short stories, deliciously shiver with a thriller.  Or meet singular and interesting characters… a general in a biography, a celebrity's autobiography, or our friend Shakespeare while reading a play.  Wrap yourself in soft poetry or challenge yourself with an essay or a thesis (that’s already a bonus!).  Or even reread a few pages of your diary; you will find beauty and constructive insights.
