Larry is speaking. Transcript: I have become an advisor and a mentor to a number of startups in the field, and I am having a ball. One of them is called SignUp. This is adding sign language to streaming video right now on Disney+ and on Netflix, where you can pop up an interpreter. These interpreters are humans. Humans still have value in this world. And they're doing very important, high-quality sign language. But of course, our investors are asking, what about AI? And our answer is, work needs to be done before you even think about assigning an avatar. Some of them are already popping up, but the Deaf community has made it very clear it's not good enough yet.

Language of tomorrow: what shall we expect? Yesterday, I attended an expert-led seminar, “The Language of Tomorrow: Exploring the Impact of Text-to-Video in Global Communication,” organized by LanguageWire and such speakers as Patrick Rønning, Chiara Damiano, Thomas Højvang Poulsen, Isabel Anthony and Mikkel Lundø. It was very curious to learn about modern AI trends in dubbing and subtitling. While this field may not align directly with our corporate expertise, it remains highly interesting for all of us as users and consumers 📱🌍. The Q&A session brought a vivid discussion on the “battle” between subtitling and dubbing, highlighting key ethical considerations ⚖️. I loved that the phrase "human touch" 🤝 stood out many times, underlining the need to maintain authenticity in the process. The modern communication landscape is developing so rapidly 🌐, and keeping up with all the latest trends can feel dizzying 🌀. But we cannot deny that we are certainly witnessing a new era. #AI #DubbingVsSubtitling #HumanTouch #GlobalCommunication #TechInnovation #FutureOfCommunication #LanguageServices #DigitalTrends #EthicsInAI #VideoContent #TechAndHumanity

Is it still reasonable to launch a language service company with overwhelming AI products presence in the market? That's what an AI answered: Despite AI's dominance, human-led language services remain viable. Quality, nuance, and cultural understanding are areas where humans excel. Niche markets, specialized services, and personalized approaches can differentiate a new language company from AI alternatives, making it a reasonable venture in today's competitive landscape.
