Airmen and B-1B Lancers return to Ellsworth after completing Bomber Task Force 24-6 Airmen from the 37th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron returned to Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, June 25, 2024, following the successful completion of Bomber Task Force 24-6 at Andersen AFB, Guam. This mission, conducted with Allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific, achieved significant milestones in strengthening partnerships and advancing strategic objectives. Bomber Task Force missions allow U.S. Strategic Command to regularly test and evaluate the readiness of strategic assets, ensuring the security and stability of the Indo-Pacific region while enhancing operational resilience. “The presence of B-1s, long-range strategic bombers, is a crucial demonstration of our commitment to the U.S. National Defense Strategy,” said Lt. Col. Christian Hoover, 37th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron commander. “Training and operating in highly contested environments enable superior tactics, techniques, and procedures for our Joint and Combined Forces. We are confident in our ability to quickly deploy anytime, anywhere, conducting integrated deterrence to dissuade and defeat aggression.” https://lnkd.in/g9XzgpSE

We working on something powerful...😈😈The Navy is typically considered strong due to its ability to project power globally, control maritime domains, and provide a platform for power projection through aircraft carriers, submarines, and surface vessels. Naval forces possess significant firepower, the ability to transport and deploy troops, and the capacity to conduct various operations at sea.On the other hand, the Air Force is recognized for its air superiority capabilities, long-range strike capabilities, and its ability to control airspace. With advanced fighter aircraft, bombers, surveillance, and intelligence assets, the Air Force plays a critical role in maintaining control over the skies and supporting military operations. It's also worth noting that military strength should not be measured solely by the size of the force or the amount of equipment. Factors such as technological advancements, training, logistics, command and control structures, intelligence capabilities, and strategic partnerships all contribute to a military's overall strength.

Establishing a specialized task group for coastal waters, conducting training and exercises across various scenarios in this domain, and configuring its command, control, and logistics accordingly can prevent confusion during wartime and enable effective collective responses. Therefore, establishing such a command structure in peacetime is crucial. My comments 👇

Dynamic, mission-driven Director of Engagement and Outreach with over 20 years of international experience. My opinions are my own.
An invaluable training tool. Budget will always dictate the number of live training events any JTAC can attend. I was fortunate enough to be in. Special forces unit for the entirety of the time I was JTAC qualified and could chase airplanes across the country and even abroad to get controls. But that isn’t the case for a lot of units or foreign partners. This type of dome simulator can gap that training shortfall the same way scenario shooting simulators for the Army have become a regular part of training. As tech and virtual training enviornments improve, the integration of additional assets will only improve the interoperability of the sensor and shooter. These become as valuable as live reps (although not for the log book with a few exceptions).

Covert reconnaissance missions during the Vietnam War: August 15, 1973: 'Operation Delta Duck' Comes to an End. As a lesser-known chapter in U.S. Special Operations history, Operation Delta Duck involved covert reconnaissance missions monitoring North Vietnamese Army activity in the demilitarized zone. This operation represented the new complexities and demands of modern warfare. For U.S. defense contractors, operations like Delta Duck highlighted the increasing need for specialized equipment, from surveillance technologies to gear tailored for covert missions, emphasizing the evolving nature of warfare and the continuous requirement for innovative defense solutions. Each of these events showcases a distinct facet of U.S. military history and provides a lens into the invaluable role of defense contractors in shaping and responding to the nation's defense needs. That's what we do every day at Quiet Professionals, sharpening the tip of the spear.

How a Small Fleet of E-11A Business Jets Allow USAF to Communicate Across the Middle East Amid the reduction in America’s airpower in the Middle East, one asset has proven its resilience: the E-11A Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) aircraft of the 430th Expeditionary Electronic Communications Squadron. This high-demand asset remains key in maintaining communications for U.S. and coalition military operations. Despite its placement in a global hotspot, Air Forces Central (AFCENT) has only a handful of fighter squadrons and limited mobility aircraft to meet considerable demands. The same goes for the E-11As and approximately 20 aviators that remain on call 24/7. #PhoenixDelivers #usaf #e11a https://lnkd.in/e_Dvii5z

The alternative scenario - the discussion in Romania about the donation of a Romanian Patriot system to Ukraine would have unfolded differently, given the strategic importance of Romania's military assets, if the Romanian Army had: a. Air forces - 4 HSAM units. b. Land forces - 3 HSAM units c. Naval forces - 4 multi-role corvettes with anti-air warfare (AAW), anti-surface warfare (ASuW), and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) platforms. d. NATO Black Sea AEW&C aircraft - Wedgetail Boeing E-3 Sentry AWACS.

All V-22s Grounded, Probe Finds Materiel Failure Possible In USAF Crash The entire Bell Boeing V-22 fleet has been grounded after a preliminary U.S. Air Force investigation into the Nov. 29 crash near Japan found that a “potential materiel failure” could have caused the mishap. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) boss Lt. Gen. Tony Bauernfeind ordered the operational stand down of the command’s fleet on Dec. 6, shortly after Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) instituted a grounding bulletin for all its V-22 variants. It is the second time this year that V-22s from all U.S. military services have been grounded. The Japan Maritime Self Defense Force had also grounded its V-22s following the Nov. 29 crash.
