Over the past 20 years I've worked at many organisations and a great environment has always been at the top of my list when choosing the company. I'm sure many of you would agree that CULTURE is not something that is installed but is developed over time. Fooseball/Pool tables, Free food, Sleeping pods, fancy motivating posters, mural art and gym is not culture. Those are merely facilities to encourage socialising happens. To me it's a lot deeper. It could either be something you are used to or something completely out of the ordinary. At the end of the day, if they truly care about culture, you are going to have to fall in line else very soon you will either leave or be shown the door. A few questions Id like to ask the HR and owner during an interview - Is it a fast paced challenging environment or Medium paced Comfortable environment? - Are the teams "close knit" or "everyman for himself" ? - What are the company values? - Do the leaders have a Growth or Fixed mindset? - How do you show your appreciation towards your people? Tell me an example of where you experienced a great or toxic culture... #companyculture #workculture #exlusivecloser #remotesales
