Alphawave Semi Joins Ultra Accelerator Link Consortium (UALink™) to Drive High-Speed AI Connections. The newly formed UALink™  meets the demands of AI workloads by providing dedicated, purpose-built networks for scale-out and scale-up fabrics. As general-purpose systems struggle to keep pace, inefficiencies grow, and datacenters require solutions like UALink to deliver low-latency, high-bandwidth interfaces for advanced AI infrastructure. UALink enables up to 1,024 XPUs to function as a single node with less than 100 ns pin-to-pin latency and data transfer rates of up to 224 Gbps per lane. By optimizing the data and transaction layers, UALink reduces die area, power consumption, and overhead compared to other options.
