PROMOTING THE DISSEMINATION OF PEACE EDUCATION AMONG SCHOOLS, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, FAMILIES, SOCIETIES, AND COMMUNITIES The approach and perception of Peace Education differ across different societies due to their unique circumstances and contexts. Some countries may consider it irrelevant due to perceived stability, while others recognize it as a necessary intervention based on their past and present experiences. In our opinion, Peace Education campaigns can be effectively implemented throughout the year, even if they are not formally integrated into educational institutions' curriculum. https://lnkd.in/dfbX6b8V

Proposal to establish a Los Angeles baccalaureate high school peace education program We share this proposal by Greg Foisie to establish a Los Angeles baccalaureate high school peace education program in hopes that his conviction and plans may inspire others to take similar action. Greg’s call to establish a more formalized and comprehensive baccalaureate program is rooted in the rationale that such an approach is necessary to prepare learners as agents of peace and to contribute to long-term educational structural change. https://bit.ly/4779uik
