As well as they are not green. Silver oxide used in solar panels is one of the most poisonous compounds. Wind turbines when they are needed no more they are buried in the ground. Hydrogen is a much better solution. However, the real solution is simple, as Nikola Tesla proved more than 100 years ago. You just need an antenna! Over the past few months, our team has had a series of meetings to reflect on Solestial’s company mission. Challenges associated with EV charging are one of the biggest roadblocks to EV adoption. The S&P Global Mobility survey found that about 46% of respondents are concerned about the time required for charging, while 44% are concerned about the availability of charging stations. Saft, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, is supplying Siemens Mobility with advanced lithium titanate oxide (LTO) traction batteries to power Germany's new Mireo Plus H hydrogen trains. These next-generation trains combine LTO batteries with fuel cells, creating a cleaner alternative to diesel trains by eliminating emissions on long-distance routes. LTO batteries, featuring lithium titanate anodes and prismatic cells, offer numerous benefits including enhanced safety, reliability, and a lifespan of 10 to 15 years. They can achieve high charge and discharge rates, allowing for rapid charging in ten minutes or less. This chemistry also ensures operational flexibility and safety under extreme conditions. The batteries assist with acceleration, braking, and load balancing, making them essential for the efficient operation of the Mireo Plus H trains.
