The SEGY Case In 2022 Equinor published the Smeaheia Dataset. "The Smeaheia dataset is a reference dataset containing subsurface data, reports and geomodels related to assessment of proposed CO2 storage sites in the Smeaheia region, Hordaland Platform offshore Norway." It contains 2D SEGY surveys, 3D SEGY surveys, fault sticks, interpreted horizons, boreholes with logs and other data. The complete 2D SEGY surveys contain 11 GB of data, the 3D survey is 7 GB.
