I.R.A (Indian Rocketry Association) Amateurs Reaching For The Stars 🚀✨ We are a rocketry club passionate about promoting safety, education, and a love for STEM. Our focus on community, innovation, and inclusivity means everyone can join in and learn. Here's a sneak peak of what we do: 1. Organize rocket launches. 2. Teach rocketry principles through education and training. 3. Offer hands-on workshops covering all aspects of rocketry. 4. Build a supportive community. 5. Conduct research. 6. Recognize member achievements. We make rocketry accessible and fun, encouraging everyone to get involved and explore the science of rocketry.

I genuinely believe being part of the #FixTheFlow Community would have been an invaluable experience for me as a Fundraiser. But don't just take it from me 👇 Our wonderful Fellows have shared some of the main benefits of the programme for them. Some that resonate with me most are: 🤯 Headspace - oftentimes as Fundraisers, we are working in a reactive way, which has negative impacts on our ability to raise money, and on our wellbeing! Having the time and permission to think strategically about how we approach fundraising can be absolutely game changing. 🔨 Tools - when I became a Fundraiser, I had very little training on basic fundraising skills and practices. Having access to a programme that equips you with the core tools we need to do our jobs well might seem simple, but is far too often overlooked in the sector. #FixTheFlow gives people the opportunity to learn and level up those tools and practices! 🌟 Energy - Fundraising can be tiring! Especially in the current environment. Although we are all mission and values driven in our work, it can be easy to lose sight of these things when you feel like a cog in a system that's becoming more broken and competitive by the day. Knowing we are not alone, connecting with like-minded professionals and learning how to play (and more importantly change!) the game, helps us to remember why we do this work and why it is so important! 💡 Powering futures, empowering minds! In 2024, we lit up our community with impact: We reached 1,000+ K-12 students through the CSU Energy Institute mobile classroom for energy education, supported 20 women in power through internships and inspired 96 student teams to dive into STEM. From connecting at 27 local events to pledging $110K to United Way, we're not just providing power but investing in tomorrow's energy leaders through scholarships, mentorship and hands-on learning. We are looking forward to 2025 with even more community engagement and support!

The Universe Is My Limit: This Student Is Helping Rewrite the Rules in Aerospace Engineering In a field where women make up just 15% of the workforce, Madison Newbell is breaking barriers and redefining possibilities. "Being a double minority in my field means I often have to work harder to prove my worth," Madison shares, reflecting on the challenges she has faced as a woman of color in aerospace engineering. Madison’s journey began at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she switched her focus from astrophysics to aerospace engineering, inspired by her aptitude and the potential to make a significant impact. She has since gained hands-on experience working on rockets at Masten Space Systems and exploring policy insights at the FAA, two transformative internships that have propelled her toward her goals. Her aspirations extend far beyond the stars—she dreams of becoming an astronaut, launching her own aerospace company, and creating a nonprofit to address humanitarian needs. Madison’s story serves as a reminder of the resilience and brilliance women bring to STEM fields, despite systemic challenges. DEVCOM Soldier Center event introduces female students to their potential STEM DESTINY. NATICK, Mass. – Could a rewarding career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, be their DESTINY? That’s what local female high school students came to find out at the Discover Engineering, Science, Technology in You, or DESTINY, event hosted recently by the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Soldier Center, or DEVCOM SC. During the event, local female high school students learned about STEM career opportunities, internships, and scholarships. Students also learned about DEVCOM SC’s work to optimize Soldier performance and to provide warfighters with the very best products and solutions that science and technology can offer.
