⚜️Dyshidrosis is a skin condition that results in the formation of small, fluid-filled blisters on the palms of the hands and the sides of the digits. Occasionally, the soles of the feet are also afflicted. ⚜️The lesions are itchy and typically persist for a few weeks before recurring. ⚜️Prescription steroid skin lotions or ointments are the most common treatment for dyshidrosis. A different treatment, such as light therapy or medication administered orally or intravenously, may be recommended by your physician or other healthcare provider. The appropriate treatment is contingent upon the severity of your symptoms. ⚜️Dyshidrosis is also known as pompholyx and dyshidrotic eczema.
