Monaco remains the crown jewel. The atmosphere is unmatched for good reason. History and legacy play a role. So many great champions have demonstrated nerves and skill here. You can't help but feel it. The Automobile Club de Monaco have also done an excellent job at improving and modernizing their facilities. It's always going to be cramped, but that's part of the exclusive charm. The new FOM camera angles are excellent. Still a bit strange to see all the standard F1 sponsors in place of #Monaco's quirky mix of local and global brands. I do think it's time they paid more than they have, though just like Ferrari, having Monaco on the calendar is the same as an appearance fee in any other major tournament. Could they improve the race and the circuit? Sure. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) could require the teams to use only the two softest compounds over the weekend. No point in making it a strategy race if you don't create a real and exciting opportunity to pass. Move the DRS zone. The current DRS zone is mostly useless. Make the tunnel a DRS zone and change the Nouvelle Chicane to a left-right jog and you'd have an excellent spot for overtakes without slamming on the brakes as is now the case. These two adjustments would greatly heighten the tension and provide some real excitement without requiring the Principality to spend big money on changes to the "track". One last thing: bring back the 4 day event. Monaco is an excellent opportunity to capitalize on marketing opportunities. The teams have many more sponsors who need to engage and activate fans at the circuit and online. The extra day always provides everyone involved an extra day to create and maximize the value of such an extraordinary place. Long may she reign! #F1 #FIA #MonacoGP #MonacoCircuit

I’m a big fan of Formula 1. It’s the perfect sport for me. It’s the confluence of cutting edge technology, sport, marketing and sheer adrenaline. It’s a niche sport, especially here in India. But if you ask anyone on the street what they know about F1, chances are they’ll mention the Monaco Grand Prix. I had the pleasure of recently visiting Monaco and walking the track. But what really got my interest was the fact that the Monaco Grand Prix actually fuels their economy. Imagine, one event, held once a year, fuels the economy of an entire country! 🏁 The Monaco Grand Prix is more than just a race—it’s a financial powerhouse. 💡 Key insights: How the Monaco Grand Prix generates over $110 million annually. The role of F1 in promoting luxury brands and boosting Monaco’s global image. How Monaco attracts the 1% of the world to its shores. With 200,000+ visitors attending the Grand Prix each year, Monaco has mastered the art of turning motorsports into an economic engine. #MonacoGrandPrix #F1Business #MotorsportsEconomy #LuxuryMarketing #GlobalBusiness #EconomicGrowth

Ahead of The Masters, Chairman John Collard reflects on his favourite moment from the tournament: 'Hideki Matsuyama's historic win in 2022 left a lasting impression, not long after we'd taken a press party to Japan. It had a profound impact there and across Asia, while the respectful bowing gesture by his caddie on the 18th green reminded us of the unique spirit of golf.' What's your favorite memory from The Masters? Share in the comments below! #TheMasters #GolfMemories"

BWT Group Alpine F1 Team heads to Imola for Round 7 of the 2024 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, the F1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Good luck to Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, fingers crossed for more points. The first point of the season in Miami shows that we are making progress after a very difficult start to our campaign. In the last two races we have demonstrated a slight rise in competitiveness and ability to race in more encouraging positions on track. Even if part of that is due to some track specifics, we have been able to unlock some performance courtesy of our upgrades. We will not be bringing any significant ones over the next few races, but we keep pushing hard at the factories to improve the car and extract more performance. This weekend is our first European race of the season and a return to a conventional track. Imola is synonymous with Formula 1, it’s really a legendary circuit. It’s very fast, tight, challenging and it’s great to still race at these iconic tracks. It’s back to a normal race weekend without a Sprint, so we will aim to have a constructive Friday and set ourselves up well for the remainder of the weekend when it counts. Other than Canada, this is the beginning of an intense period on the calendar racing through Europe right until the summer break. It’s important that the team remains focused and keeps pushing at the factories in order to bring more performance to the car, which is our natural aim. #f1 #alpinef1team #raceweek #alpine #imola #autodromoimola #EmiliaRomagna #grandprix #gp #esports #formula1 #AlpineF1 #a110 #alpinea110
