Let's hit on the touchy subject... Face it. No matter who your provider is, we are all susceptible to an outage of some sort at some time. It could be internal like the most recent news of other businesses, or often times an external factor, like this one, that is out of anyone's control, but stands in the hands of the business to get customers back up and running asap. My question to you is: What are you doing for your business? Do you have backups in place? Do you have another Fiber or broadband connection with carrier diversity so that you are not left losing tens, hundreds, or millions of dollars sitting with your hands tied, waiting for your only internet to be restored? Have you implemented a dedicated service so that when something happens, you are in a 1:1 experience to be restored vs sitting on the 1-800 line with the thousands of others who are also down? Oftentimes we hit a pain point (possibly like this outage) where our sole reliability was a shared connection. How do we avoid that in the future?
