Calling all level 6 Career Guidance and Development Providers - there's a new 17 min video added to the Career Theory (unit 3) materials on the value of research in career guidance and development. A brief excerpt in provided in this post. The full video provides an introduction to: - the concepts of research, theory and evidence based practice; - the relationship between research and theory; - how knowledge is provisional, previous "truths" becoming falsified (the need for continuous learning); - impact measurement ... what and how, including Kirkpatrick's 4 levels of evaluation; The example assignment brief for this unit has also been updated to align with the video. For those of you who already use this resource, pop on and have a look. For those of you who would like to know more about it, visit https://lnkd.in/e96kgkZA Many level 6 providers find it an invaluable resource to support their provision.
