Timber frame construction is leading the way for more sustainable development, and Scotland is at the forefront, with more than 90 per cent of new homes being built using timber frame. Market share for timber is increasing in the UK too, currently at 23 per cent with a report from the National Housebuilding Council (NHBC) suggesting this could grow to 27 per cent by 2025.
