In the first of a series of fortnightly blog posts, Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) Director of Emerging Industries and Innovation David K Martin explores the Federal Government's review of the country's R&D system. "Why does this review matter?" David writes. "Think of Australia's R&D system as the engine room of our future economy. Just as a car needs a well-tuned engine to perform at its best, our economy needs a robust R&D system to drive growth and stay competitive in the global market." David developed this series of blog posts to demystify #innovation and the use of technology. "The feedback we're getting from our members and the Emerging Industries Council is they don’t know where to start on their digital/innovation transformation journey," he said.
